Funke Akindele's shares first post since police arrest

Since Nigerian actress Funke Akindele and hubby, Abdul Rasheed Bello popularly called JJC Skillz, were sentenced to 14 days community service and a fine of NGN100,000 each, following their conviction at Ikeja Magistrate court.

Funke and JJC Skillz ran afoul of the law when they broke the stay at home directive of the state government by throwing a party to celebrate JJC Skillz’s birthdays.

The internet went crazy with the news alerting law enforcement officials leading to their arrest by the Lagos State Police Command and subsequent conviction at the Ikeja Magistrate Court, Ogba.

This really got to the actress as she took to her Twitter handle to state that she was broken and her friend and colleague, Mary Njoku came on social media to plead on her behalf.

However, that was the last we heard from the actress on the internet. Well, until last night.

The actress took to her Instagram page to make her first post since the incident. She uploaded a picture of herself and captions it “breathe”.

And she really does look good.
