In France, PSG continued their march as they had help from latest rivals Lyon who did them the honor of scoring two own goals in their 2-0 in a match that gave a little insight to their dressing room condition: Neymar and Cavani had had a dispute over who would take the 79th minute penalty and Cavani had won it only to lose the kick. Aubameyang however notched a brace to help Dortmund stay top of the Bundesliga standings after the beat Cologne 5-0.
