Popular Nigerian musician and politician Banky W has slammed the CNN via his Twitter handle for reporting false news.
CNN, while reporting on the violent incident that happened last night at the Lekki tollgate during which protesters were shot at, claimed there was a clash between EndSARS protestors and law enforcement agents despite being a curfew imposed on the Lagos state by the governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Banky W reacting to that asked them to tell the truth if they are going to report their story as there wasn’t any clash between protestors and law enforcement agents.
According to him, the soldiers killed unarmed protestors who were singing the national anthem and holding the national flag.
