Africans have come out in their numbers on social media to kick against the suggestions of two French doctors who want to test their vaccine for the COVID-19 pandemic on Africans.
The two French doctors on a TV debate, suggested trials of a tuberculosis vaccine on Africans to see if the vaccine will prove effective against coronavirus
Naturally, this has angered Africans as they have come on Twitter with the hashtag “#AfricansAreNotLabRats”.
One of the doctors, Jean-Paul Mira, head of intensive care at Cochin hospital in Paris, says, “If I can be provocative, shouldn’t we be doing this study in Africa, where there are no masks, no treatments, no resuscitation?”

This suggestion has made Africans really upset as they have taken to Twitter handle to school the French doctors on the fact that Africans are not lab rats.
