Rapper Cardi B, real name Belcalis Almanzar, is apparently fed up of people who try to discredit her success and put her down.

After admitting to drugging men and stealing from them – something she did in the past – people have started the hashtag #survivingCardi B and are calling for her to be cancelled, following similar situations with R. Kelly and Michael Jackson.

She then took a self-imposed break from Twitter. She, however, went to her Instagram page to hold a live session in true Cardi fashion.

“Let me tell you something,” Cardi says.  She continues: “I am a rapper. I am a bitch that came from the streets that came to the industry. I wasn’t a Disney channel star. I wasn’t a nun. I wasn’t a saint.

Y’all don’t gotta worry about it, y’all don’t gotta tell my story,” Cardi said. “Want to know why y’all don’t gotta tell my story? Because I’m going to write a book about my life.”

Considering the extensive things she has said about her past and her journey, we have no doubt that it’ll be interesting.

Cardi B’s climb to fame is a well known one – from being a stripper, to being an Instagram celebrity, to being on a reality show and finally hitting it big as a rapper in 2017 after the release of Bodak Yellow.
