The singer’s latest track, the lead single from her upcoming fourth studio album, has debuted in the US at Number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Pretty impressive, right? But that’s not the historic part.

No Tears Left To Cry is Ariana Grande’s fourth lead single to debut in the Top 10 on Billboard, meaning she is the first artist to kick off four album campaigns with Top 10 debuts.

Ariana’s The Way, the first single from Ariana’s debut album Yours Truly, opened at Number 10 in the US, while Problem from her sophomore album My Everything peaked at Number 3.

Dangerous Woman, the lead offering from her third album of the same name also began in the top flight at Number 10.

Just so you know, no other musician in the Billboard Hot 100’s 60-year-history has achieved what Ariana has - not even the likes of US chart legends like Elvis Presley, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Beyonce or Madonna.

In the UK, No Tears Left To Cry debuted at Number 2 as the fastest-selling single of 2018 so far, while it became Ariana’s first ever Number 1 hit in Australia.
