American rapper, Pop Smoke killed at his home aged 20

TMZ is reporting that Pop Smoke, who was an up and coming rapper was at his home when two men in masks broke into his home.

The men fired guns which hit and critically wounded the rapper. They fled on foot while he was rushed to the Cedars-Sinai hospital in West Hollywood where he died.

The culprits have neither been identified nor arrested.

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj shared a cryptic post while mourning his death. She shared a picture of the late rapper alongside the caption: “The Bible tells us that jealousy is as cruel as the grave. Unbelievable. Rest in Peace, Pop.”

Her post seems to suggest that Pop Smoke may have known the killers.

Nicki Minaj and Pop Smoke famously collaborated on a track last year when the latter released an album and one of the songs, ‘Welcome to the Party’ blew up.
