The Champions League came to another interesting climax last night after Basel showed more willingness in their group encounter with Manchester United to set up a crunch game against Benfica in the group decider. Benfica had succumbed to a 2-0 loss in Russia against CSKA Moscow and were 3 points ahead of Basel who faced a United side that had won four out of four games, the match was hard fought by both teams but the 3 points went to the home side with a 90th minute goal. Atletico Madrid recorded their first win of the competition against Roma to keep their hopes alive but they will likely not make it as Roma needing only a point against Qarabag in their last match.

Although the Boxing promoter, Eddie Hearn who currently works with Anthony Joshua is interested in a title unification fight with Joseph Parker, he has said that the fight may not happen next year because the deal of 65-35 that David Higgins wants for Parker.
