Davido‘s songs made a transition from the OBO ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ crooner and evolved into a more different musician since he became the father of two beautiful daughters and met his fiancee Chioma.
The evolution has since made a revelation in his music, which was very evident on his 7 December 2018-released track “Wonder Woman” an unobtrusive cut from a legacy already stretching the limits of how much an artist can tastefully get away with.
“Wonder Woman” is a eulogy to women all around the world and maybe specifically to one woman in his life at the time.
The video to “Wonder Woman” was directed by Twitch and features a diverse cast of emerging leaders who are women. The video features cameos from She Writes Woman Foundation founder (Hauwa Ojeifo), award-winning power vocalist (Omawunmi), Girl Coding and Pearl Africa Foundation founder (Abisoye Ajayi Akin-Folarin), ART X founder (Tokini Peterside), amongst others.
