Burna Boy hints at a new album which could drop soon

Grammy award winner, Burna Boy, who dropped his first solo piece of 2021, ‘Kilometre’, a track highlighting his journey through the years has hinted at a brand new album that could drop very soon.

He had collaborated on a few joints earlier in the year when he gave a lending hand on SIA’s ‘Hey Boy’ remix and on ‘Loved By You’ off Justin Bieber’s Justice album.

However, it seems the ‘Ye’ crooner’s sight is set on a new project as he embarks on a whole new journey.

In a Twitter post on Friday, Burna Boy explains his next project carefully details his pain as someone who feels like an OUTSIDER… could potentially be the album title or not. Just a wild guess from reading between the lines.

Burna wants every listener out there to listen to the pain in his voice and how it’s always been very difficult to accept him for who he is.

This next album. I need you to hear the pain in my voice, The pain of an OUTSIDER, Forever marked by my skin ,my past and the place I come from No matter how skilled I am or how honourable I proved myself.

He also continued saying “I forever suffer. The dull eyed masses hatred of anything they do not understand. I embraced my pain and turned it into the greatest weapon this world will ever know.”

Burna ended the series of tweet with a single word which reads “OUTSIDER” and got fans swooning all over the tweet.

After dishing out “African Giant” that nearly won him a Grammy and “Twice As Tall” that got him the Grammy award, Burna’s next offering will be looking to consolidate his domination in the music industry.
