Laycon releases official video for 'HipHop' smash hit featuring Deshinor

Olamilekan Agbeleshe, the Big Brother Naija Season 5 winner professionally known as Laycon, has dropped the video for his smash hit single titled “HipHop” featuring Deshinor.

Laycon’s long-awaited “HipHop” official video premiered on 25th November 2020 and it has amassed almost 200K views on YouTube within 12 hours of its release. The ‘Icons President’ had originally released “HipHop” as a track on his “Who Is Laycon” EP.

The EP contains eight songs and Laycon has chosen to release “HipHop” as a single after the project started attracting attention. Before he even won the BBNaija Season 5 reality show, he had also released “Fierce” (featuring Reminisce & Chinko Ekun) as a single as well.

However, since the end of the competition, Laycon continues to ride on his large following and he is reaping the rewards. Just weeks after he was announced as the winner of BBNaija Lockdown edition, Laycon jumped on DJ Neptune and Fireboy’s Nobody remix, and the verdict was that the rapper did exceptionally well.

It is no wonder that this release of the “HipHop” official video is putting Laycon’s name at the top of social media trends.

HipHop video was released under Fierce Nation Entertainment, TG Omori directed it and Echo the Guru got the credit as producer. The video itself is a masterfully curated piece of art that portrays the huge welcome Laycon received after winning the Big Brother Naija reality show.
