Popular Nigerian Singer Davido has shared his excitement on social media as he celebrates getting his stage name, Davido, on Instagram.
Davido who was formerly known as “Davidoofficial” on Instagram, revealed his stage name was being used by a Brazilian before now.
According to the singer, for the past ten years, he has been begging the Brazilian to allow him to use the name.
The “Fem” crooner made the announcement on the 6th of November via Twitter, excitedly stating that he has now claimed ownership of “Davido” on Twitter.
He tweets: “Finally!!!!! NEW IG NAME: DAVIDO … lol I literally begged some Brazilian guy for like 10 years on ig to free this name for me !! Thank you…”
