New Music Friday: SDC drops “The Algorhythm” album; Omah Lay’s “Understand”, and more

It is literally raining new releases this week as we have lots of artists across the world contributing new music to this week’s playlist.

Show Dem Camp (SDC) finally released their highly anticipated album “The Algorhythm” on 9 July 2021. The rap group that’s consistently given us “Palmwine Music” over the years have returned with another classic project.

The album had been announced months ago and it’s finally here. Few weeks ago, they release “Rise of the Underdogs 2”, as they geared up to drop the album.

“The Algorhythm” is a 15-track body of work featuring Ladipoe, Reminisce, Jesse Jagz, and Tomi Thomas.

Here’s the tracklist to “The Algorhythm” by SDC

Show Dem Camp have continued to maintain the pedigree they set in the heart of Nigerian hip hop with previous projects like “Clone Wars 3: The recession”, “Palmwine Music”, “Palmwine Music 2”, and “The Clone Wars IV: These Buhari Times” and now, it’s “The Algorhythm”.

Omah Lay – Understand

It was beginning to seem like forever since the last time Omah Lay dropped some material but the wait is finally over as he dropped “Understand”, his latest single during the early hours of Friday, 9 July 2021.

That’s not just the only interesting news from Omah Lay’s camp as he also announced he would finally be going on tour, releasing dates and locations.

Adekunle Gold – Sinner ft Lucky Daye

AG Baby already sounded a warning before this one dropped. He says he’s sincerely sorry to all the single pringles out there as he finally drops “Sinner” featuring Lucky Daye.

I mean, have you seen the art cover of the single? It has Adekunle Gold and his heartthrob Simi in a pool together. God when????

The Kid LAROI made an interesting lineup when he appeared on Justin Bieber’s album “Justice” and Justin Bieber is returning the favour as LAROI drops new music titled “Stay”. It will be on “F_CK LOVE (OVER YOU)”, The Kid Laroi’s upcoming album, which is billed for a summer release.

Justin Bieber has also been very active since his album dropped, appearing on DJ Khaled’s “Khaled Khaled” album as well as on Migos’ “Culture III”, and is set to headline Jay-Z’s “Made in America” music festival on Labor Day Weekend.
