One of the key traits that made H.E.R into a multi-Grammy award singer is her ability to put her soul into her singing and songwriting. Her songs make a difference every single time, and it’s no wonder Netflix partnered with her to do a song for their series, “We The People”.
The Netflix series, “We The People”, is aimed at helping US citizens know their civic rights through music, created by the Obamas.
H.E.R asked very potent questions on the song: “If I’m just one person will my voice even stand out?”, “Can I make a difference if I don’t even know how to change?”
Bad Bunny seems to have perfected the art of surprises as he speaks a few Japanese works on his brand new single “Yonaguni”. The video to the song was also unexpected, and that makes it twice as nice.
Tems – Ordinary People
Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer, Temilade Openiyi aka Tems has released new music, but it is more of a cover of another song.
“Ordinary People” is the title of John Legend’s 2009 classic and Tems has moved to do her own version of the song.
As a special for Juneteenth, @AppleMusic asked me to do a cover of the iconic song “Ordinary people” by @johnlegend. I rarely do covers, so this one was definitely an honour. Here’s Ordinary people?https://t.co/jyCkhsbhVf
During the lockdown last year, M.I Abaga and Vector squashed their beef, and it seems to be having something to do with the new direction in music from both camps.
