American rapper, Jimmy Wopo, 21 shot dead hours after XXXTentacion's death

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wopo who was only 21 was travelling with another male in a white Mazda SUV when they were shot about 4:22 pm in the Middle Hill neighbourhood.

Pittsburgh Police confirmed that the second victim is in stable condition.

The Elm Street rapper’s manager, Taylor Maglin, confirmed the death of his client, real name Travon Smart, on Facebook.

“I lost my brother today and it’s the worst feeling in the world. He was destined for greatness and he wanted the best for his friends, family and community,’ Maglin writes.

We lost a great person today, but just know I will do everything in my power to make his memory live on forever. Love you bro,’ he added.

In a statement by Alicia George, a Pittsburgh Police spokesperson, she said “A police investigation into the drive-by shooting is underway. This was an isolated incident, an apparent drive-by.”
