Next James Bond film gets working title!

The next James Bond film may have been pushed back by two months but the film’s bosses are reportedly not unclear about names.

The 25th James Bond movie will be released under the name Shatterhand.

The apparent title of Daniel Craig’s last outing as the iconic spy was revealed by industry publication Production Weekly in a recent newsletter which said that “Bond 25 w/t Shatterhand”, will begin filming at Pinewood Studios on 6 April.

While Bond bosses are yet to confirm the rumours, they seemingly confirm 2017 reports which said that the name is a strong contender for Bond 25’s official title. The mysterious name was first used as an alias by Bond supervillain Ernst Stavro Blofeld and featured in Ian Fleming’s 1964 novel You Only Live Twice.

It comes after the film’s release date was pushed back by two months last week, ahead of its release in April next year.

The latest delay comes after the release was originally pushed back to February 2020, when Danny Boyle left the project over creative differences last year.

While new director Cary Joji Fukunaga will take the reigns, it’s expected that Daniel Craig will hang up his tuxedo for the final time after Bond 25.
