The funeral of the model and actress was held at Cascades Hills Church in Columbus, Georgia, a little over one week after her unexpected death.

Over a thousand people were present at the funeral, including Kimora Lee Simmons, Mary J. Blige, Yolanda Adams, Winnie Harlow, Faith Evans, Usher, and lots of other celebrities.

At the funeral, Diddy, the father of three of her kids delivered a tearful eulogy. The rapper nearly broke down speaking of Kim as she was laid to rest in a beautiful golden casket.

During his speech, Diddy spoke of how Kim helped him out of depression. He said,

“I was getting older, and I just went through a dark, dark time. And even though we wasn’t together, she was that type of person. She would come over and…she was just like, ‘Come on, Puff. You gotta get up. You gotta get up out the bed. You gotta get moving. You gotta get up.”

He also spoke of how he met her, saying “I would come into the office every day and she worked at the front desk. And I would be so excited to come up in the elevator. To know that I was going to see her.”
