Empire star Jussie Smollett is donating a ton of cash to charity organisations ahead of the Christmas holiday.

According to TMZ, Jussie Smollett who plays Jamal Lyon in the Empire series is taking proceeds ($125,000) from his latest album, Sum Of My Music, to give to the organisations.

Charity organisations to benefit from the donation include Black AIDS Institute, Flint KIDS, South Africa’s SKY Foundation, the Trayvon Martin Foundation, the Human Rights Campaign, Know Your Rights Camp, ACLU and the Anthony Burrell Dance School.

This is not the first tine Smollett will be giving to the less privileged. The actor recently helped Kayden Kinckle, a 6-year-old double amputee with a handicapped-accessible van.
