It starts off with the sad-looking puppet walking around town as he watches his ex-lover getting cozy with her new boyfriend.
Agrieved by the situation, he goes into his home to recall the sweet moments he shared with the ex-girlfriend.
However, the music video ends with the puppet finding out that the ex-lover breaks up with her boyfriend.
Happier is one of the tracks off Sheeran’s critically acclaimed album Divide which was released on March 3, 2017.
In an interview, the singer described the track as another standout ballad with his cleverest and most mature lyrics yet, looking back on a failed relationship with an original twist.
Meanwhile, Ed is currently on a tour in support of his latest album.
