Don Jazzy breaks down as Linda Ikeji becomes engaged, says ‘it is finished’

Reports circulating yesterday on the internet say the blogger c-m television entrepreneur has become engaged to an ex-boyfriend following a period of a hiatus in their relationship while the ex was living abroad. He’s back in the country now and the two have decided to tie the knot. Linda hasn’t confirmed the news but her sisters, Sandra and Laura, did in separate Instagram posts, which is kind of the same thing, don’t you think?

Devastated (seemingly) by the news, Don Jazzy, posted a picture on his Instagram page showing him being consoled by some friends over his dashed dreams of making Linda his `wife’. He captions the picture with crying emojis and the line: “Kai Linda is engaged… It is finished.’’

We’re not sure whether the music producer was being his comical self as usual or whether he really harboured some real (romantic) feelings for the blogger. For all intent and purpose, he was single, she was single, why didn’t he make the move? Or did he make the move and was rejected? Hmmm.

Well for his efforts he’s got some sympathisers including  Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic who writes: “Take heart”, while Peter Okoye writes: And you just missed my sponsorship,” an allusion to Okoye’s offer to sponsor the wedding should Don Jazzy marry Linda Ikeji.

Before the news, Don Jazzy had made several moves and also ‘proposed’ to her (Linda) on social media and with various posts on his Instagram handle. Recently, he shared a photo of Linda with the caption: “when you’re fine, you’re fine abeg.”
