Following the break of the tragic news, some Nigerians had heaped the blame on Lineo with some calling her careless. They attributed the death of the one-year-old to negligence on the part of his mother.
Toyin, in a post shared on her Instagram page, asked that Lineo should be given a break and that unfortunate things happen. She narrated the story of how her son, Tenor, almost drowned in a pool where she had gone to work, saying “it happened so fast and I was right there.” She also berated those who criticise Lineo for what happened urging them to “think for once about the damage” such “comments can cause.”
