Actually, this was the singer’s second attempt to break into Nollywood. His first atrempt was a 2015 film title John Serene, which never made it to the cinema.
Davido shared a preview of the current film effort on his Instagram account yesterday. He played the role of a highly skilled commercial pilot. Another Nigerian singer that starred in the movie is Majek Fashek.
From the brief preview, it is too early to say if Davido made a good impression still, we’d be keeping our fingers crossed till when the movie is finally released.
Davido joins the list of singers turned actors that include Banky W, Ikechukwu, Vector and 2Baba.
