On Thursday Morning, the singer took to Twitter to say a prayer against harassment from SARS officers leaving fans to wonder whether the singler was just saying a prayer for the security operative or was actually harassed.
“Good morning, may you not be harassed by SARS today in Jesus Name,” the tweet reads.
Later on, popular OAP Dotun revealed the reason behind the singer’s sudden prayer against SARS harassment. According to the OAP, the singer was scheduled to have an interview with him yesterday but the interview could not hold because the interview time was disrupted by SARS officers.
The incident effectively adds Mayorkun’s name to the growing list of celebrities, the likes of Reekado Banks, Dr SID, Dotun and other Nigerians who have been harassed by SARS officers.
