Yes, you read that right. The man said he was heartbroken by the decision of the deacon of his church. He subsequently went digging into his Bible. Thank you, Daddy Freeze.
His research, he writes, indicated that many of the prophets kept beard during their time. He, therefore, wants to know the following:
“a) Did Jesus Christ” have a beard?
“b) Was it ever written in the bible that I will not make heaven if I have a beard?”
Well, we are not Bible scholars but from what we learn, God looks at the mind, not the outward, which we’re sure the deacon must be well aware.
Is there more to this story? Maybe ye, maybe no. But based only on the testimony of Chuka Amadiume, it’s epic fail on the part of the deacon. Tsk.
