After the details of the finalised talks between the Queen and Duke and Duchess of Sussex were released, Prince Harry expresses great sadness over the conclusion reached.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a statement early this year that they were both stepping back from senior royal duties as they wanted to lead a more independent life.
Apparently, they released the statement on their social media without the knowledge of any member of the Buckingham Palace and this caused a lot of controversies, putting the palace and the Duke and Duchess in the public eye for a while.
Going forward, the Queen released a statement, after a few days of an emergency meeting, which Megan Markle didn’t attend.
From the meeting held at the Sandringham palace, the Queen issued a statement saying that the Duke and Duchess will lose their royal titles and will repay the £2.4 million that they received from the renovation of Frogmore cottage which they will keep.
