The Miss World pageant is over and a new Miss World has been crowned!
The new Miss World is Miss Mexico Vanessa De Leon. She was crowned by the 2017 Miss World, India’s Manushi Chhillar.
In the revised format, organizers picked a top five from the five regions of the World. Miss Nigeria, who made it to the top thirty lost out as Miss Uganda won the crown for Miss World Africa 2018.

Others in the top five were Miss Belarus as Miss World Europe 2018, Miss Jamaica as Miss World Carribean 2018, Miss Thailand as Miss World Asia and Oceania 2018, and Miss Mexico as Miss World America 2018.
After all deliberations, miss Thailand was announced as the runner up and Miss Mexico the winner!
