'Love exists and marriage can work' - Lami Phillips

In an Instagram post on Monday, Lami shared a picture of herself and husband, Labo Gbadamosi. In the post, she revealed that they have known each other since they were in their teens.

According to her, she still calls him her ‘boyfriend’ because that’s how she sees him. She ended by saying love exists and marriage can work.

“Known him since I was a teenager.. cradle snatching tings .. we took this picture after our second baby.. I remember feeling fat and awkward but he always knows what to say to make me smile.

“I still call him my boyfriend cos that’s how I see him.. I’m a girl who likes this boy and we are friends ?? and I know it’s not cool to say so.. but love exists.. marriage can work,” she wrote.

Lami and Labo Gbadamosi got married in 2005. They are blessed with two children.
