Fireboy DML to release sophomore album, 'Apollo' in August

The singer has now announced a release date for his highly anticipated sophomore album, ‘Apollo’ on social media.

In this announcement, Fireboy announced that the upcoming album is set to be released on 10 August 2020. This will be a follow-up to his first album, ‘Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps‘.

He announced this through his social media channels, both on Twitter and on Instagram, sharing a video and a caption with the simple words, “Apollo. 20th of August.”

Pulse has described his first album, LTG, as Nigeria’s best selling album so far in 2020 and it will definitely be exciting to see what Fireboy has in store with Apollo.

This album was first teased after Olamide announced the YBNL deal with Empire Distribution. Olamide wrote: “Time to get to work and serve you guys new Baddo album and new Fireboy album who’s ready? #YBNLEMPIRE.”

While Fireboy is about to release his album, Olamide will release his untitled album later in 2020.
