Vector tha Viper, fresh out his joint “Crossroads” EP with veteran Nigerian music producer Masterkraft, dropped yet another EP titled ‘The African Mind’ released on the 19th of June 2020.
On the EP is “Rape Voem”, a poem that was written to tackle the moral decadence in the society. It was released during a time when the subject of rape was pertinent and was being discussed aggressively.
“Rape Voem” comes at a sensitive time when women are being treated with utter disrespect while some men have yet to grasp the concept of consent.
Vector opens up on his concern as to how the society expects people who have been abused, maltreated, and violated, to keep quiet .
He calls for justice to be meted out to perpetrators of rape, and that whoever is found wanting should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
