Cicely Tyson is honoured with Oscars at Governor's awards

Hollywood actress Cicely Tyson has been honoured in a huge way!
The 93-year-old was awarded a honourary Oscar award at the 2018 Governor’s award which was held at the Ray Dolby ballroom in Hollywood.
Ava DuVernay presented the award to her. This makes her the first black woman to ever receive a honourary Oscar award.

She also frequently makes an appearance on Shonda Rhimes’ How to Get Away With Murder, which has earned her several Emmy nominations.
