Chelsea set to pay Oblak's £89m release clause to replace Courtois

After Thibaut Courtois failed to turn up for training on Monday it became increasingly clear to Chelsea that they had to find a replacement.

Chelsea are now looking to Athletico keeper Jan Oblak as their first choice.

Daily Mail Reports say that the blues do not mind paying the  £89m release clause as long as they can secure the services of the Slovenian stopper.

If the deal is successful Courtois will most likely get his wish and join Real Madrid in Spain.
