Toyin made the announcement on her Instagram page, 10 years after the release of Alakada 1, the actress released a sequel in 2013 and another in 2017.
The actress disclosed that the sitcom would commence soon, noting that it was written by Olukayode Aderibigbe and Adekunle Salawu and will run for 26 weeks.
Alakada follows the life of Yetunde Animashaun (Toyin Abraham), a lady from a poor family background who constantly makes up outrageous stories about having influential parents.
