Just less than 10 days after their very private wedding, the designers behind the design of Nicki Minaj’s and hubby Kenneth Petty’s wedding rings have shared the image of the couples’ wedding bling.
Nicki’s wedding ring is a massive customised 17-carat centre with VVS2-clarity diamonds, while Kenneth Petty opted for a simpler albeit customised ring with “Ken & Barbie” inscribed on the inside of the ring. Nicki’s ring has no words written on it.
The rings are reported to have been designed by Los Angeles jewellers Rafaello and Co and allegedly cost about $1.1 m according to TMZ.
The company shared a video of the rings placed in a customised jewellery box. In the box, a photo slide of Nicki and Kenneth plays against a track sound of Nicki’s song, Come See About Me.
The jeweller captions the video: “Congrats to the King and Queen, We wish you both lots of love and happiness together. Thank you for trusting us with designing and making these very special pieces for you both. @nickiminaj“
Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty have taken a swipe at those who gossip that it was Nicki who paid for the ring rather than her now-husband, Kenneth.
The couple took to Instagram to share a video of themselves dressed as Chunky and his bride as they joke about the ring. Nicki shared the video on her Instagram page with the caption: “A small word from Jennifer Tilley as #TheBrideOfChucky. Heavy on the Sleeze ”
In the video, Nicky says to Kenneth, “Hello Chucky, well Chucky, I love you and everybody says that you secured the bag. You married a multimillionaire and you secured the bag.”
“You know I just cut somebody motherf___ finger off for that ring,” chimes in Kenneth, an apparent jab at those who think he couldn’t have bought the ring.
