The online gallery was launched on September 19, 2017 and it gives a platform for artists to show their works and also for art lovers to get access to incessant varieties of art works. They also look to providing advisory services to anyone looking to sell.
The General Manager Shola Masha said:
“We are passionate about African art and are committed to giving these works a global stage, promoting the development of art and culture in Africa but most importantly, showcasing the amazing talent that exists on the continent.”
The Art’s manager and curator Adeniyi Adetunji also added voice:
“Africa is home to a thriving art culture. Its enormous diversity of ethnic groups and cultures is captured beautifully in the art created by her artists. We are … giving people all over the world access to, and advisory on the diverse range of African art available.”
