Nollywood actress Clarion Chukwurah honoured with humanitarian award in US

Who is she?

Clarion Chukwurah is a veteran Nollywood actress who has nearly ninety movies to her credit and has appeared in movies such as “The World of Riches” 1&2 (2006), “Days of Bondage” (2005) and “Apaye” (2014). She also featured prominently in the rested TV series “Mirror in the Sun”. She was the first Nigerian to win the Best Actress category at the Panafrican Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou (FESPACO Film Festival) held in Burkina Faso in 1982. She is also a United Nation’s Peace Ambassador for her humanitarian works across Africa and the mother of ace YouTube Movie director Clarence Peters.

“Received the City of Houston Humanitarian Proclamation Award from the Mayor of Houston at the Ugo Sunday Foundation Inc BE LIFTED GALA Night at the Hilton Houston Galleria on June 23rd, 2017, one year after receiving same from the New York State Senate. To Almighty God, I give all the Glory. Amen! Thank you!”
