We can only report what people are saying like this Twitter user, Oloye Akin Alabi (@akinalabi), who tells about an experience involving one of his friends. Apparently, the friend had given some money to a person in need only for the person to in turn gift the church 10% of the money as a tithe. A situation that prompted the said friend to vow never again.
