However, like some immigrants going through the difficult process to attain a US citizenship, 21’s hearing has been postponed.
He was originally set to appear in court for 9 April but this was postponed with no confirmed rescheduled date. The delay will send his case to a group of judge, however. The rapper’s lawyer Charles Kuck believes that won’t happen for some time.
“They don’t have enough non-detained judges, so his case is waiting to be assigned. I can’t give anybody, even him, a date as to when that might be,” Kuck says about the postponement.
