A potential sighting of Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland, all in the web-slinger’s suit, keeps many fans up at night in anticipation of “Spider-Man: No Way Home”. Marvel Studios has managed to keep its card close to its chest with this one.
With only Jamie Fox (as Electro), Benedict Cumberbatch (as Doctor Strange), and Alfred Molina (as Doctor Octopus), confirmed to appear in the film, director Jom Watts still has a lot more to reveal.
Holland, who has played Spiderman in the 2017 and 2019 standalone films, and Avengers’ films, has outrightly denied having any knowledge about Maguire and Garfield’s involvement. Yet, the presence of Electro and Doctor Octopus, the villains in the 2014 and 2004 films, says otherwise.
In addition, producer Kevin Feige confirmed that the film will have connections with “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” (coming in March 2022), hence, the inclusion of Cumberbatch.

To further argue the possibility of more than one Spiderman, The Hollywood reporter Graeme McMillan said, “a multiversal storyline offers Marvel the opportunity to clean up some loose ends while setting up the future of its cinematic universe, and [fulfil] some fan dreams in the process.” He compared it to the DC Comics comic event “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” where several characters meet their alternate selves.
In a recent interview with Access, Andrew Garfield now responds to the possibility of appearing in “Spider-Man: No Way Home” with the statement, “never say never”.
