The trailer revealed that the gang is still together. Mike Wheeler, Dustin, Lucas, and others make appearances in the one minute and 30 seconds clip.
For now, the details are sparse, but fans should expect more action than the previous three seasons. According to Entertainment Weekly, Matt Duffer, one of the show’s creators, mentioned that the events will move out of Hawkins.
This news is a relief because viewers were already getting claustrophobic with the drama all taking place in the small town. Additionally, most of the loose ends like Hopper’s perceived death and Eleven being adopted by Joyce Byers and relocating with her new family out of state, will be addressed as well.

In all, the creators assure fans that Stranger Things 4 will ‘feel very different’. The first episode is titled “Chapter One: The Hellfire Club”, with the other eight episodes’ titles still kept a secret for now.
It will air in early 2022 with no definite release date yet announced. Jamie Campbell Bower (from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows), Eduardo Franco (from American Vandal), and Joseph Quinn (from Game of Thrones, season 7) joined the cast as Peter Ballard, Argyle and Eddie Munson, respectively.
Noah Schnapp, of the production crew, claimed to have wrapped up filming in September 2021. Now, they will race against time in the post-production factory to get the series ready.
