To give a better viewing experience, Paramount Pictures settled for an exclusive cinema release. At least for the first 45 days after 28 May 2021.

With many other film distributors choosing simultaneous cinema and streaming release, it seemed like Paramount was taking a risky gamble. It had caved in to release others via streaming platforms but held on to “A Quiet Place Part II”.
