Teni, who has been making music actively since 2016, has finally come through with her debut album “WONDALAND” on 19 March 2021 under Dr Dolor Entertainment record label. Her 17-track album is enjoying positive reactions from her fans and critics alike.
A 17-track album is quite ambitious for a singer like Teni but the Uyo Meyo crooner delivered a masterstroke with her debut attempt.
“WONDALAND” is her second major music project after the successful “Billionaire” EP which was carried by hits like “Billionaire” and “Super Woman”. The EP contained six songs and one would have never taken Teni for someone who loved lengthy projects but here we are, less than two years later and a 17-track album sits here, banging.
Besides the pre-released “FOR YOU” track featuring Davido, Teni does all the singing on her album. “FOR YOU” has been topping charts in the country for weeks since its release an indication that her collaboration with Davido paid off.
She also has one other pre-released track on the album, “JO” which includes Nigerian music icon Sir Shina Peters making an appearance on the song’s video.

OkayAfrica says that Teni has been recording the album for over two years and some of the songs were not made in Lagos, where she lives most of the time. There were recordings in London, New York, Dubai, Orlando, Ondo, and Abuja, the blog says.
The period of time it took to record the songs likely explains why it contains this number of tracks. Pheelz, Ozedikus, Damayo, P-prime, Tempoe, and Kriz Beats are credited as producers of some of the various tracks on “WONDALAND” by Teni.
Sticking with Pheelz is a great decision because both of them have made magic together in the past with the most recent major success being his Producer of The Year win at The Headies in 2020 for the hit song “Billionaire”.
Just hours after the album dropped, there are already lots of positive reactions on Twitter. Here are some of the notable ones:
The BEST Album of 2021 is @TeniEntertainer’s #WONDALAND ? You CAN quote me.

More reactions are expected to roll in as more and more music fans and critics listen to Teni’s debut album. Yet, for someone who penned the hit song “Like Dat” for Davido and has also continually shown her ability to churn out good music, there is little doubt that she will deliver.
I love this
