A Facebook user has shared pictures of an appalling classroom of a high school in Oke Odo Junior High School in Lagos State.
Sharing the image, the Nigerian man identifying as Olufemi Olanrewaju writes “My People Is This A Classroom or a Dustbin? This is Oke-Odo Junior College in Abule Egba In Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA… Kudos to the Chairman of the lCDA or sham to him?”
Shocking is being mild as the learning condition boggles the mind -It’s actually indescribable, best seen than described. One wonders whether the poor kids get to learn anything under those conditions. For our own, we know that the thought of going to classrooms such as those is enough to put us off learning forever.
And the teachers as well! They sure deserve an award for trying to teach under the most outlandish unconducive environment ever devised by any mind for learning – and we are not exaggerating. Someone, please inform Governor Akinwummi Ambode, a crisis on his watch!
