Great news for Nigerians as Nigerian Railway projects received some boost from China.
Nigeria will be getting the delivery of 11 more locomotives for both the Lagos-Ibadan and Abuja-Kaduna railways
The news of the engines leaving China was made by the Chinese company, CRRC Corporation Ltd, in charge of the rail construction in Nigeria
According to the tweet shared by the company, the train engines will also be added to the available ones plying the Abuja-Kaduna railway.
The locomotives left Changzhou Port to Shanghai and could be in Nigeria in days. The post gathered mixed reactions from Nigerians who had many things to say about them.
While some praised the government’s efforts in bringing development to the country, others had things to pick holes about.

My country will never fail to shame me, at thus age, when other countries of the world( including lesser rich countries) are building advance train transport, Nigeria is building a diesel powered train

So in this jet age your common sense cannot tell u that advanced countries no longer use locomotive trains. How can we celebrate set back as achievements?? Are we still in the stone age?? We are now a country where China are dumping their phased out locomotive trains

So it's true what they say about people like you yeah? In today's age, some vehicles(cars) still run on diesel engines in Europe, so a train that runs on diesel Engine is an outdated train to you in Nigeria that has always had a Coal engine type from inception? Na wa o!
