Nigerian Uber driver in the US returns money left in his cab to the owner

Yes, Nigerians are ordinarily, hardworking and honest despite the few who tarnish the image of the country now and again, just as would be found in any given country. Doubt me? Nine of the eleven persons caught oil bunkering were not Nigerians. So you see?

Just to show that anyone can be good (or bad) irrespective of their national affiliation, a Twitter user @LawyerRogelio shared news of how a Nigerian Uber driver returned seven hundred dollars to him that he had forgotten in the cab. He tweeted:

“Lose $700 plus money clip in UBER this morning. I am running late for my nephew to file for the US representative spot District 29. I locate Uber 7 hrs later. An immigrant from Nigeria (Uber driver) returns my lost money. Who says we need to exclude immigrants?

“I asked him how he found it and he said another female passenger got in his car after me and handed (found $ in the back seat))the money to him. They both counted it and he remembered the man with a distinctive cowboy hat.”

This story really makes us feel rather warm.
