We don’t know for certain where or when the photograph was taken but we think the image is in line with the public persona of the first lady. She has at various times, aimed to come across as normal and in touch with the masses.
The photograph was shared by the first lady’s daughter Hanan on her Facebook page. She captions the image: “Abun ya burgeni”, a Hausa sentence that means “I am surprised.”
We guess that caption speaks volume.
