According to the lady, child kidnappers now posed as messengers and pretend to have been sent by the parents to collect the children from the house (might as well be school or playgrounds). In her case, she said that she has been teaching her workers to be aware of the pretences that people use to gain unlawful entrance to steal, kill, kidnap or to carry out other nefarious activities. Thankfully, her maid was paying attention.
So when this unsavoury character said that he had been sent to collect the children who were on mid-term break from school, the maid demanded to know the name and phone number of her madam, and subsequently ran into and locked the house. She then attempted to conduct her madam to inform her of the incidence.
The concerned mom also called on parents and childminders to be extra vigilant and to teach their domestic help to be security conscious.

Went out with my cook to get some food stuff so my maid was left with the kids at home they are on mid-term break,at about 11:56 my maid called but I was unable to pick, on getting home she informed me that a guy came over to the house telling her that madam asked him to come and pick the kids for school uniform measurement.
First thing she asked the guy was what is madams name?
What is madams phone number?
The guy now asked her to open the gate so he can show her his ID card. He even mentioned my kids’ school.my maid ran into the house and locked up that was when she was calling me.
