A Facebook user, Mercery Toluwalase, has narrated a harrowing incident of how she was robbed by people who pretended to be customers.
She said that she was contacted by a lady who ordered and paid for products worth thirty-five thousand naira. However, when she met her for delivery, it was another story as she was more or less bundled into a vehicle, tied to the seat and taken to a lonely place. She was then forced to transfer money from her accounts and was also dispossessed of her mobile phone and others goods for delivery.
Notwithstanding her horrifying ordeals, the lady was very thankful for having not been hurt. “Guys join me and thank God…… It can only be him….. I saw hell today, I never experience gunpoint in my life, I saw how it looked like today,” she said.
Toluwalase’s story is akin to the one we reported yesterday about a man who was robbed at gunpoint on a Lagos bus. You can find the story here.
