A commercial motorbike operator, popularly known as ‘Okada’ and his female passenger were yesterday crushed to death by a lorry driver.
Eyewitnesses’ account said that the Okada operator was riding against traffic on the Awka-Onitsha highway. The gruesome accident happened around Kenneth Dike Library area of the expressway.
Photographs taken on the scene showed officers of the Federal Road Safety Commision (FRSC) attending to the dead.
