A tragic and preventable accident claimed the life of an unnamed young man after a drink-driving policeman hit him with a police vehicle.
An account on social media said that the drunk policeman “meandered from the expressway to the service lane jumping over the median distinguishing the two lanes.” The plate number of the police vehicle was marked RRS 317 LA.
The incident reportedly happened yesterday in the Gbagada area of Lagos. The policeman is also said to been arrested.
