Former President of the Senate and the immediate past Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Pius Anyim has been arrested.
The arrest is related to allegations of fraud over the Centenary City, according to SaharaReporters. Anyim was appointed by former President Goodluck Jonathan to head the Centenary celebration of the proclamation of Nigeria as a nation by colonial Britain.
SaharaReporters says the former Senate President is in detention and is being interrogated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the alleged fraud.
